More about me
Badminton runs in the Foo Kune family, my parents used to play, my sister represented Mauritius in the 2008 Olympics in Badminton and they have now passed on the disease to me!
Born and raised in Mauritius, I speak fluent English, French and creole. I am currently studying a Bachelor's degree in Paris, France in Sports Management as well as playing Badminton full time.
Last year I started my Olympic qualification year and I successfully qualified to the Rio Olympics Games, a dream come true! As well as representing my Country in Badminton at the Olympics I was also chosen to be the flag bearer at the Opening Ceremony.
It is always hard doing both sports and studies but not impossible. My next goals after Olympics are to win tournaments, to get higher in the world ranking and to qualify for Toyko 2020. Being an athlete is highly rewarding, it is a life full of adventures, adrenaline, discovery, life long lessons and much much more!
